Following their recommendations, I fixed that through Device Manager. Zinstall replied the very next day and told me that my LAN adapter on the my old computer was not working. I ran the scan of both computers as recommended and sent it to Zinstall. I contacted Zinstall and they replied immediately. So I did the LAN cable direct connection. I tried doing it wirelessly first but it was obvious that it was going to be slow. I ordered 2 Zinstall's and gave it a try. I bought 2 Windows 10 Pro computers, used from eBay, both with 500GB SSD and 2TB hard drives. I had 2 PC's, a Windows 7 and a Windows 8.1, that were getting long in the tooth and it was about time to upgrade to Windows 10. Then I ran across an ad for Zinstall which promised it could do the migration without all the bother. It's really time consuming i.e., reinstalling all the software and data files as most of you already know. I've done my fair share of migrating between computers. I've done my fair share of migrating between PC 's. Amazing company, amazing software, and an incredible support team. I can not suggest zinstall more, I wish I had more words to commend them on what they did for me. It was perfect, professional and saved me months of stress and time. What Zinstall did for me I will never forget.
Every single shortcut is working perfectly. I am here to tell everyone that every single program, even some that are 32 bit are working 100 percent. After 32 hours my transfer was done, and I got a congratulations from Zinstall. My programs were large and very professional, not simple consumer apps. I had a 2 tb hard drive on my windows 7 machine with so many shortcuts that the desktop was covered from top to bottom. The process was seamless, amazing and they were there every step of the way to guarantee my success. If I could give Zinstall, their team from James to all others who communicated with me 400 stars I would. I knew that with something so important I didn't want to take a chance doing the transfers myself so I spent the 200 plus to have their team oversee this important day. I went to zinstall and quite frankly I didn't believe what I read there but decided to give it a try. I was told that it was impossible and that I would have to spend months to reinstall all that I had. I had talked to some great techs in Los Angeles and Utah about how important it was to take 11 years of programs for my recording studio, video creations and more and preserve them while upgrading to windows 10 from 7.
